To get to the top of the Mountain of Understanding, you have to make connections that help each stone guardian understand what he is reading.

The little man with the hat is your avatar. Use the right arrow key (on your keyboard) or the right arrow button (on the iPad) to move him up the mountain.
Your connections will show up at the bottom of the screen every time you need to help a stone guardian.
Choose a connection by click-dragging it up to the purple box. If that connection doesn't help the guardian understand, it will pop back into your bag.
Some of the connections are tricky! Think about the meaning of the sentence, not just the words.
When you choose a connection that helps the guardian understand, he will let down the bridge so you can cross it. Use the arrow key to cross the bridge and continue up the mountain.
Choose your connections carefully, don't just guess! You lose one jewel for each guess that is wrong.
In the second level, the guardian will tell you whether to choose a text-to-text, text-to-self, or text-to-world connection.
In the third level, you get to make your own connections. Think about things the poem reminds you of.
